A management background together with a management diploma and seven years on a management development program enables me to train confidently in most aspects of communication skills and people management.
I left my previous job in 1996 to go back to University to take an accelerated degree in Business Studies whilst at the same time setting up my business ‘Training Works’.
Courses I have delivered over the years have included one day workshops, a number of units from the post graduate diploma in management studies, the Institute of Supervisory Management introductory award and certificate. I also tailor make staff and management development programs.
During the past few years my customers have included Carlisle Hospitals, Carlisle City Council, Cumbria Chamber of Commerce, Furness Enterprise and Cumbria Constabulary and Sellafield.
Having trained staff as both a manager and a trainer over a seventeen period, I have built up a reputation for enjoyable, practical training which is easy to understand and which improves the way people do their jobs.
